this chap wandered in farm yard sort of a water bird aint no water near us hes lost. He is very elusive used in camera crop. Point of photo r6ii 100/400 with 1.4 extender and in camera crop 1:6 still turned out ok. Its a semi rare or uncommon bird in my parts
Went through photlab6 only really dont know exactly what i was doing

A fantastic capture of an unusual (for us!) and beautiful creature. You certainly nailed the shot and the post-production looks equally good to us (we use - and very much like - DxO PhotoLab Elite).

i need photolab tutorials.....but snuck up on him from behind a bush and thought "gotta fill the frame" hence in camera crop probably wrong method

...and to think the next day was Summer Solstice! The morning started off nice and brisk somewhere below freezing with a blanket of snow on the car.
I decided to put the R5 and L-glass away because I wanted see if it's possible to take a good landscape photograph with my EOS R and 24mm f/1.8 Macro.
