Cape St. Vincent, Portugal. It was overcast but I took a few anyway. We go there at least once a year.

Hi Gareth,Haven't had much opportunity to get out with t'camera over recent weeks, but I couldn't ignore the fantails flitting round me while I was fiddling with irrigation pipes down by our river. The friendliest was a (relatively) rare melanistic individual:

ISOs were creeping up because it was late afternoon, and getting them to pose in full sun was a bit tricky. The last two were given the benefit of a denoise in LRC, and all were given a smart subject pop. Otherwise just a very quick auto settings, punch and switch into camera landscape colour.

Hi Only RF,
Hi Ed,
Thanks, Phil! Appreciated!Hi Ed,
Very well seen and nicely captured - an intriguing composition which would leave many guessing as to what it actually is they're looking at.
We're partial to the occasional close-in flora shot - either as a standalone image, or as a background.
This is a particularly intriguing example - a multitude of textures and pastel shades in a single image.
Bark as art indeed - thank you for sharing...

Nice tonesFriday afternoon coffee time re-edit. (Image by Karen, edit by Phil. s/w: Adobe LrC/ PS with TK-9 Panels, DxO Nik Collection and Topaz Labs Studio 2).
As we near the end of our replacement kitchen final fix week, there's a pleasant bottle of white wine in the fridge - are you thinking what we're thinking...

Bar-tailed Godwit : Limosa lapponica
A muddy-footed male Bar-tailed Godwit in fancy dress is clearly a bird ready to leave Queensland shores and head for the far north of the Pacific Ocean: breeding time approaches!
Somehow, I botched this shoot: the first time I've taken photos in JPEG on the R5. I've no idea how the setting was changed.

Wonderful set of shots, Folks. The first photo is a manicurist's deepest nightmare, love the details and colors of the frogs, and our younger daughter (who loves the color orange and tigers) appreciated the last photo, where you captured their gazes perfectly. Although I think they are gazing at their next potential meal...More images from our visit (in February) to Chester Zoo, Cheshire, England.
