What were you testing here?First test shot
The Canon R8 with the RF 100-400mm lens. What were you testing here?
Hi Ferenc,Did a short walk in downtown Budapest, Hungary with camera in hand on a bright sunny afternoon yesterday. Here's what I got from a 15 minute ride by tram and metro from home. Cam in Manual for all pictures, shutter set to 1/4000s (yeah, I now its overkill, but an experiment to make sure no motion blur ever happens), while F-stop varied upon zoom and finally ISO set to Auto. Please enjoy! Gear: Canon EOS R6 MK1 + RF 24-240mm F4-6.3 IS USM
Hi Walter,First test shot
Hi Cemal,
Thank you, Phil. It is a very small place but highly enjoyable. The best part is that it does not require too much walking!Hi Cemal,
We love dreamy waterfall shots - a what a beautiful and colour rich composition this is. Very nice work…

I prefer the second one with more dynamic water movements. And the white water in both in the upper falls remind me of a person with both arms up in the air.A couple of Mouse Creek Falls in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This is way at the north end of the park near I-40. Kind of a one way dirt road in and a 2 mile hike. One with a six stop ND and one without. Just a little tweak of highlights and shadows and a touch of tone curve in DPP4.

Yes I like the water in the 2nd one ... I don't get the really soft long exposure water effect in photographsI prefer the second one with more dynamic water movements. And the white water in both in the upper falls remind me of a person with both arms up in the air.

Any R System images can be posted. If you would like to say something about your images in terms of the subject, settings, or any post-processing, that will be very welcome.
Remember, you don't have to only post things you took this month - sometimes people don't get around to processing/ editing images straight after shooting them. (Think of it more as an ‘images I’d like to post here this month’ thing).
Images posted here will also be available to view in a dedicated Monthly R System Images Galley, which can be found by clicking Here.
Commenting on other people’s posts is encouraged, as it keeps everyone interested and coming back. (Please aim to be considerate, thoughtful and constructive).
We’ll aim to provide some feedback too - but please note we are away for part of each month and busy with ‘life stuff’. The lack of a comment from us is not a sign of disfavour!
Finally, please post in accordance with the RF Shooters Community Guidelines.
Thank you!

Hi Tui,
Hi Walter,I've always been intrigued by the angular configuaration of this structure in Providence.

Beautiful images. They are all so interesting, must have been a great visit. The light in the interior shots is super. As promised (somewhere on the site - possibly not in this thread... ), some images from our recent-ish visit to Snowshill Manor.
(Shot raw and processed using: DxO PhotoLab Elite/ Viewpoint and Adobe Lightroom/ Photoshop).
You can learn more about Snowshill Manor and Charles Paget Wade by clicking Here.

1. Snowshill Manor, near Broadway in the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, England, was built c.1550.View attachment 15199
2. It was the home of Charles Paget Wade (1883-1956) - an eccentric and avid collector.
View attachment 15200
3. He built up an incredible collection of over 30,000+ ‘things he found interesting’, of which only 30-ish were actually purchased from overseas.

4. Many famous people visited Snowshill to meet with Mr Wade and see his collection including - J B Priestley, Virginia Woolf, Graham Greene and Queen Mary.

5. Several years before he died, Mr Wade offered Snowshill to the National Trust as a way of safeguarding the future of the manor and garden and Snowshill has been in the care of the National Trust since 1952.

It was fun, macro abstracts were the theme. Now I have a bunch of things I want to buy, including stained glass, colored gels, and of all things, milk crates.Hi Hali,
It looks like you had plenty of fun at the workshop - time well spent, with two fabulous and inspirational images created!
Thank you for sharing.
