Cape St. Vincent, Portugal. It was overcast but I took a few anyway. We go there at least once a year.

Hi Only RF,

A beautifully balanced composition, with a wealth of interest to encourage the viewer to pause a while and linger. The B&W treatment is spot on.

Thank you for sharing... :)

Haven't had much opportunity to get out with t'camera over recent weeks, but I couldn't ignore the fantails flitting round me while I was fiddling with irrigation pipes down by our river. The friendliest was a (relatively) rare melanistic individual:

ISOs were creeping up because it was late afternoon, and getting them to pose in full sun was a bit tricky. The last two were given the benefit of a denoise in LRC, and all were given a smart subject pop. Otherwise just a very quick auto settings, punch and switch into camera landscape colour.

Hi Gareth,

A fascinating series of images showcasing this beautiful creature (and your talents!) - well seen, caught and very nicely processed.

Terrific fine feather detail evident through out and that all important eye pop/ catch-light. (Image #3 is our favourite - what a cutie!).

Well done - and thank you for sharing... :)
