A couple of Mouse Creek Falls in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This is way at the north end of the park near I-40. Kind of a one way dirt road in and a 2 mile hike. One with a six stop ND and one without. Just a little tweak of highlights and shadows and a touch of tone curve in DPP4.

Hi Stephen,

As you may have gathered, we do like waterfalls - and what a splendid set of cascades!

Thank you for sharing…

Yes I like the water in the 2nd one ... I don't get the really soft long exposure water effect in photographs

Hi Tui,

That looks like a peaceful spot for a relaxing stroll - and can we spot blue skies?

(We’re not at all jealous… :D).

Beautiful images. They are all so interesting, must have been a great visit. The light in the interior shots is super.

Hi Hali,

Cheers - appreciated!

A very busy, but fascinating, place to visit. Quite cramped with often a mix of dimly lit and brightly lit situations to contend with, but a really fun challenge for photography and we had a fine time.

Certainly recommended - if you happen to be passing… :)

Hi Hali,

It looks like you had plenty of fun at the workshop - time well spent, with two fabulous and inspirational images created!

Thank you for sharing.

It was fun, macro abstracts were the theme. Now I have a bunch of things I want to buy, including stained glass, colored gels, and of all things, milk crates.
